These terms apply when you use logofade.com ("LogoFade", "we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The service
LogoFade is a free tool that removes the visible Gemini watermark from an image. It runs in your browser: the image is processed on your device and is not uploaded. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to pay.
Only use it on images you have the right to modify
You may use the tool only on images that you created, or that you have permission to edit. You use it at your own risk: you alone are responsible for the images you process, for what you do with the results, and for any consequences of that use.
That includes following the law where you live and the terms of the service that produced the image. Do not use a cleaned image to mislead people about where it came from in situations where you are required to disclose that it was made with AI, and do not use the tool to infringe anyone else's rights.
What the tool does and does not do
The tool removes the visible star that Gemini places in the corner of an image. It does not remove SynthID, the invisible watermark embedded in the picture itself. The file you download is re-encoded by your browser, so metadata from the original image, such as EXIF data and GPS location, is not kept in the downloaded file.
The tool does not work on every image. When it cannot remove the watermark cleanly it gives an explanation instead of a result. Check each result yourself before you rely on it.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will work on your image, or that a result will be free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or of images processed with it. Keep your original files: the tool never changes them, and they are your backup.

LogoFade is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google. Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC.
Privacy
How the site handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may change or discontinue the site, and we may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
